Time. It’s free, yet it’s priceless. We all have it and use it, but where does it go? Time flies when you’re having fun. Life rushes by in a moment. There is a time to every purpose, and each day brings us a little closer to our dreams.

Write Now

If you feel time slipping away, you need to create a writing plan and set some goals. Planning how you’re going to get where you want to be is vital to accomplishing your goals in this season of your life. Lofty goals can be achieved if you break them down into manageable, specific steps with a deadline for your future accomplishments. Most importantly, if you want to succeed, you need to take action. Write now!

Never Too Late

Ted Kooser, the 13th Poet Laureate of the United States, found time to write extra early in the mornings before going to work. He said good writing comes with time and patience. We just have to make it happen. Best-selling author Mary Higgins Clark was 48 when she published her first book, and Mary O’Hara was 56 when she published My Friend Flicka. Western author Louis L’Amour had 200 rejections before publishing his first book. In fact, many leading authors have had hundreds of rejections before becoming popular, so whatever your writing dream, this is no time to give up. It’s never too late to follow your dream. Celebrate small achievements along the way, and before you know it, you’ll reach those lofty goals. I bet you can see it now… the time of your life!

  1. Thanks for the encouragement that others had success later in life.
